The Carbon Cache Module

This is the list of requirements for the cache service.

Given a key, the ability to retrieve a data object

The ability to refresh the data in the cache periodically or at user request

Provide fast-access to data

Provide thread-safe access to data

The ability to create and remove a cache via a user-oriented API

The ability to have cache elements expire
